Ok, I have a book for you to read. I just read the book, and I also know that you will not want to read it. This book, Rules for Radicals, is written by Saul Alinsky, a 60's radical and is a manifesto for radicals. Yes, I want you to read it, even if it repulses you. Why? Well, because it is a handbook for community organizers, and served as a "training manual" in Chicago for community organizers...Yes, Barack Obama, was/is the best know community organizer in the country.
Saul Alinsky, a Chicago activist, wrote this book as a guide for radicals who wanted to change our democracy. He claims to not be a communist or a socialist, but it is his goal to create equality and to redistribute wealth from the "Haves" to the "Have nots." Call that what you will; it certainly sounds like what Barack Obama said to Joe the Plumber.
If you want to know how Barck Obama won the election, read this book. His message is; radical must use the system to radicalize it. They must operate within the system, in order to create the radical change. That is what the book is all about, and that is what Barack Obama did.
There is no doubt in my mind that Barack Obama is radicalizing our country, and call it left, communist or socialist; the label does not matter. He is a radical, and he is following the Rules for Radicals.
Actually, I call him a Fascist; the fit is quite good.
I read Rules for Radicals when it first came out decades ago. Few believed that Obama REALLY believed in these rules. His history proves he does.
I recommend another good read, The Case Against Barack Obama: The Unlikely Rise and Unexamined Agenda of the Media's Favorite Candidate by David Freddoso. You will have a much better understanding what Obama believes and why he believes it. In many cases, he has lived it.
