Sorry, I could not resist commenting on the Obama Cabinet meeting today. It has been reported that he gave "bold direction"s the cabinet to reduce the budget by $100 million. If this is really true, it has to be either a joke, or a child like admission that the Tea Parties had a point. Although Axelrod commented yesterday that he thought the Tea Parties were "unhealthy", it also appears that Obama realizes that he needs to send a "fiscal conservative" message. That is the joke. This is a man who seems to not understand that when he spends money that does not exist, it either requires borrowing or printing of currency. For him to cut a trivial amount in an effort to "make a statement" is so silly, it simply does not pass the "snicker test."
Since that is hard to
comprehend, here is an excellent video visualizing what that means, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWt8hTayupE
