Our President is Listening. Yes, he is listening to Chavez, Ortega and the rants of political organizations that pretend to be democracies, but are simply democratic Fascists. What is that, that is a Fascists, who masquerades as a leader of a democracy by using the tools of oppression to keep control of people who think they have the vote. Chavez is on his way to being the permanent ruler of his country, and uses his version of history to make the US the villain he can blame for all his horrendously inept policies.
Enter President Obama, who promises to listen. Well, he is listening, and we all must certainly hope that by listening, he will convince the "enemy states" that we are really good guys and they should be their friends. I for one, think his strategy is foolish and a waste of time. He will listen, they will speak, and then they will demand concessions to our values. If the President gives in to those pressures and continues to blame the US for the problems of dictators, he may actually make friends with them, and in turn they will eventually take foreign aid that they can turn around and use against us, and make another billion in self serving profits for their own accounts. They hate us when we do not give money; they hate us when we do. It serves their purpose to have an enemy that they can blame, and their trade off to that useful enemy, would be the ability to raid "our Treasury."
Remember the phrase, 'useful idiot', from the cold war? The communists never dreamed it would be the POTUS.
